National Administrative Professionals Day

That means we have a lot of work to do but one of the main pillars is to make all employees feel welcome and appreciated. Today is an awesome opportunity to help our followers do just that. If you haven’t heard yet, today, April 27, 2016, is National Administrative Professionals Day and it’s all over the place; just look on Twitter. We really hope you thought ahead and planned a fun gift and or celebration for anyone in that role but if you didn’t…

 

 

…here are some last minute ways to appreciate your co-works. (Note: You don’t have to be the boss to show appreciation!)

    1. Quickly and quietly have the staff sign a Thank You card.
    2.  Write a list of projects you couldn’t do without them and share with the whole team.
    3. Cater a fun lunch for the office/team.
    4.  Order flowers for immediate delivery (Maybe write a note suggesting you ordered it days ago?)
    5. Put in some effort to think or another yourself! 

 

 

Best Practices and other notes:

  • Your effort level is noticed so plan ahead and put some real thought and effort into celebrating your co-workers.
  • This practice can be and should be done with more people than just co-workers (family, significant other, friends, etc.)
  • Think about their likes and dislikes and plan something they would like. A surprise party is fun but not everyone’s cup of tea.

How to Pick Your First ID Card System

Happy Customer Service Week!

We’re in the throes of Customer Service Week here at Baudville, Inc. and it’s been a blast so far! From a week full of games and treats to massages and dressing casual all week, the team members here are feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. 

Remembering to show your team that you appreciate the work that they put in day after day with a bonus week of fun and relaxation (mixed in among the work, of course) is the perfect way to restore their company loyalty and renew their desire to help the business succeed. Not to mention it’s just plain fun!

Baudville Brands take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge made its way around Baudville the last couple of weeks. It started with the Baudville creative team and ended with IDville and the entire Operations department. The teams were all eager to participate and raise awareness about ALS and to help in the fight to find a cure.  

In support of ALS research employees also donated funds to the ALS Association. Baudville quadrupled their donations to make a total donation of over $5,000 for this great cause. All of Baudville is excited to share its support and lend a hand to the ALS Association in their short- and long-term goals for ALS research. Making badge wear FUN!

While ID badge accessories are a great solution to getting your team or students to wear their ID badges each day, sometimes that’s still not enough. We’re going to give you some fun ideas to help encourage people to wear their ID badges each and every day!

Create a “Gotcha” game where on certain days management or teaching staff will hand out small prizes for those people “caught” wearing the ID badges. The main object is to not tell students or staff when these days or times will be so that they’ll always want to have their badge, just in case! 

Hold a simple raffle where each person wearing their ID badge on a certain day gets their name put into a drawing for a prize of your choosing. As a bonus, each eligible day when people are wearing their badge gets them an extra raffle ticket for the final drawing. Again, don’t let people know which days they’ll be given raffle tickets. 

Turn ID badges into a sort of “pass” for certain areas of the building or certain activities that will be happening. Make ID badges required for entry or participation so that it encourages everyone to wear their badge for the day. 

Simply acknowledging those students and staff with a kind word that are wearing their ID badges may go further than you think as well. Let those who are playing by the rules know that you appreciate their little added effort by telling them “good job” or “thank you”. 

Getting your students or your team members to wear their ID badges on a daily basis doesn’t have to be a daily struggle. Get creative and make wearing ID badges fun!
